I love recipes that can be used for multiple purposes. This is wonderful for breakfast, brunch, or dinner. It’s full of flavor and if served with a salad or fruit is a complete meal.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup chopped ham (leftover works well in this recipe)
2 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1 green onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons sour cream
1 cup heavy cream
3 eggs
1 deep dish pie crust
INSTRUCTIONS
With a fork, thoroughly incorporate the cream cheese into the ham. Spread evenly over the bottom of the pie crust.
Sprinkle with the cheddar cheese and green onion.
Whisk the remaining ingredients well and pour over the ham mixture.
Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for one hour until browned and the center is set.
This can also be made using sausage or chicken.
