- 1 30 oz Frozen Shredded Hashbrowns, thawed
- 1 10.5 oz Cream of Chicken soup
- 1 16 oz Sour Cream
- 1/2 cup butter (one stick)
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Set aside 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese to use for the topping.
Mix all the remaining ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
Pour into a well-buttered 9 x 13 casserole dish. Top with the reserved cheese.
Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 45-50 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
