Tender, moist, delicious, these Asian Meatballs are wonderful served over rice or mashed potatoes. They can also be skewered and served as an appetizer.

Ingredients

ASIAN MEATBALL INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground pork beef may be substituted
  • 2 tablespoons ginger freshly grated
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 3 green onions, white and green parts thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Tamari Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter creamy or chunky, your choice
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

ASIAN MEATBALL SAUCE

  • 1/2 cup Tamari Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 2 green onions thinly sliced

Instructions

ASIAN MEATBALL INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients mixing until well combined.
  • Form into one-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  • Place in a preheated 375-degree oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.

ASIAN MEATBALL SAUCE

  • In a large saute pan, add all ingredients. Over low heat, simmer until the peanut butter is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  • Toss the baked meatballs in the sauce until all are coated.
