Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 cups quick cooking oats

Instructions

  • In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, add the butter, milk, cocoa powder, and sugar. Bring to a boil and cook for one minute.
  • Reduce the heat and add the vanilla and peanut butter. Stir until the peanut butter melts.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the oats. Combine thoroughly.
  • Using a heaping tablespoon, drop onto a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Allow to cool before eating.
