NO KNEAD YEAST ROLLS

These No Knead Yeast Rolls can be ready in one hour. They are perfect for any meal or used as rolls for sliders.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  • Heat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer, whisk together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  • Heat the water, milk, and butter until the butter is almost melted. Add the lemon juice and stir.
  • Using the dough hook, add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients and mix on medium speed adding additional flour if needed, a tablespoon at a time. Knead for 3-4 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap and let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Press into a rectangle shape about 1/2 inch thick. With a pizza cutter or knife, cut into equal-sized pieces. Form each square into a ball and place it into a buttered 9x13 pan. Wet your fingertips and rub over the top of the rolls to prevent drying while they are rising.
  • Place pan into the oven and turn off the heat. Let rise for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven.
  • Heat the oven to 375 degrees. Bake rolls for 15-17 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

These rolls can be made without a stand mixer but the time it takes will be a little longer.
