We love burgers in our family. I’ve made them with every meat imaginable and any number of combinations of ingredients. This is definitely one of our favorites.
In a large mixing bowl add the following ingredients:
2 lbs ground turkey
1/2 cup frozen spinach (thawed and drained well)
1/2 red onion, diced
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
2 tablespoons dried Greek seasoning
1/2 cup crumbled Feta cheese
salt and pepper, to taste
Mix together well but do not overwork the meat. Form into patties of your preferred size. This will make 8 nice burgers.
Weather permitting, these are delicious cooked on a grill. However, it was raining at our house so I cooked them on the stovetop and they were just as good.
Serve on toasted buns with lettuce, tomato, and tzatziki sauce.
