Five of my most favorite ladies (4 daughters, 1 daughter-in-love) and I are headed to the mountains this weekend for a girl’s weekend getaway. This will be our first girls only getaway EVER! We are all super excited, however, the beloved is wondering what he is going to eat while we are gone. His talents are innumerable but cooking is not one of them. I prepared a few things for him to have on hand and this was one of them.
What do you do when your beloved LOVES breakfast in the mornings and you don’t want to look at food until your first half-pot of coffee is gone? You find recipes that can be made ahead and reheated. This is one of those recipes.
Biscuits, blueberries, vanilla sauce, and hot coffee …..what’s NOT to love?!?
We are currently working on a cookbook from the members of our church. I have been blessed to serve on the team that is putting it together. This recipe immediately grabbed my attention. The lady who sent in the recipe is a fabulous cook! She has given permission for me to share it with you. Thanks, Lillie!
When the weather forecast is predicting snow and ice, you plan ahead for delicious and comforting meals. What could be better than waking up to the smell of freshly baked cinnamon rolls and a big cup of coffee?
